Mr. Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and Adviser of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament, met here today with a study group of cadres for economic affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) headed by O Ryong Il, a presidium member of a committee for supporting the peace of the DPRK.

Wang briefed on the just-concluded fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and had an in-depth exchange of views with the DPRK side on further strengthening the traditional friendship and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

Extending congratulation to China on its great achievements since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago, O Ryong Il expressed the willingness to learn from China's experience in economic and social development through this visit and make greater contributions to strengthening the friendship between the two Parties, countries and peoples.
