Japanese Association for Inheriting and Developing Murayama Statement Delegation Visits China


At the invitation by the CPAPD, a 5-member delegation headed by Mr. Magosaki Ukeru, council member of the Japanese Association for Inheriting and Developing Murayama Statement, former head of the Intelligence and Analysis Bureau of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and director of East Asian Community Institute, visited China from October 16 to 20, 2023. In Beijing, Mr. Zhou Li, Vice President of the CPAPD and former Vice Minister of the IDCPC met with the delegation and hold a banquet. Dr. Tao Tao, Deputy Secretary General of the CPAPD, held a work discussion. The delegation had a meeting with the scholars from the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, and specially visited the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance against Japanese Aggression and presented a bouquet to express their regret and respect. They also visited the National Museum and Central Gift and Cultural Relics Management Center. Mr. Takakage Fujita, Chairman of the Association was invited to attend the Thematic Forum on People-to-People Connectivity of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF). Besides Beijing, the delegation also visited Tianjin City.
