NGO Leaders from Five African Countries Visit China

At the invitation by the CPAPD, a delegation consisted of 19 NGO leaders from Ethiopia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and Namibia visited China from September 18 to 26, 2017. In Beijing, Vice President of the CPAPD Mr. Zhou Li met with the delegation. Secretary General Mr. An Yuejun briefed the delegation about China’s national conditions and political system and held a work discussion. An expert from China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations had a thematic introduction to the delegation. The delegation attended joint seminar with the theme of Global Security Dialogue. Besides Beijing, the delegation also paid field inspections and visited sites relevant to city development planning, community self-governance, innovation and entrepreneurship, higher education, ecological protection, infrastructure construction and so on in Wuhan and Chengdu.
