On 15 September 2020, the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament held a seminar on Central Asian in Beijing, with its theme as "Relations between China and Central Asian Countries in the Face of China-US Rivalry ". Mr. Yu Hongjun, Vice President of the CPAPD attended and delivered a speech. Ms. Chen Xiaohan, CPAPD Deputy Secretary General served as moderator of the Seminar. Experts from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Development Research center of the State Council, China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, China Institute of International Studies, Sinopec and other relevant institutions attended the Seminar. The participants had in-depth exchanges on topics such as the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Central Asian countries, the security situation in Central Asia and the geopolitical game among major powers.
