At the Invitation of the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Senate of Czech Republic, Mr. Yu Hongjun, Member of the Committee of Foreign Affairs, Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Vice-President of the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) visited the afore-mentioned two countries as head of the CPAPD delegation from July 28^th to August 5^th, 2015.

During the stay in Egypt, the delegation respectively met with Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muraad, Provincial Governor of Luxor, Mr. Baraad and Deputy Secretary General of Ismalia Province, Mr. Mukhseen. The delegation also attended a Dialogue with its counterparts in Egypt with the title of “Pragmatic Cooperation between the One Belt and One Road Initiative and the Suez Canal Development Project”.

In Czech Republic, the delegation respectively met with Chairman of the Inter-parliamentary Group of Friendship China-Czech Republic, Chamber of Deputies, H.E. Vojtěch FILIP, President of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security, H.E. Bublan, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kaucky, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kulhanek, and President of the Czech-China Friendship Association, Mr. Tefuljik.
