CPAPD Delegation Visits Vietnam, Laos and Mongolia

At the invitation by Vietnam Peace Committee (VPC), Laos Committee for Peace and Solidarity (LCPS) and Mongolia Peace and Friendship Organization (MPFO), Ms. Lin Li, a standing committee member of the CPAPD Council headed a 4-member delegation to visit the above-mentioned three countries from June 26 to July 5, 2016.
In Vietnam, the delegation met with Mr. Tran Duc Loi, Deputy Head of the External Commission of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Communist Party (VCP), Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh, Vice President of the VPC and Mr. Pham Van Chuong, Vice President of Vietnam Peace and Development Foundation respectively. Secretary General of the VPC Mr. Dong Huy Cuong hosted a work discussion. The delegation also interacted with representatives from the trade union, youth organization, women’s federation, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the External Commission of the VCP, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization and so on.
During the stay in Laos, the delegation met with Ms. Sounthone Xayachack, Head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations. Mr. Khamphan Simmalavong, Chairman of the (LCPS) hosted a work discussion. The delegation also had discussions with representatives from the LCPS, the trade union, youth organization, women’s federation, LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Civil Affairs. The delegation called on Confucius Institute of the State University of Laos. Ms. Khamchan, Vice President of the Lao Front for National Construction accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.
In Mongolia, Mr. D. Zagdjav, President of the MPFO and Mr. Myagmar, President of Mogllian Institute for Geopolitical Studies held a work discussion with the delegation accordingly. The delegation also called on Mr. Janabazar Tuvdendorj, Director of the Department of Neighboring Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Bayarsahan, Vice President of the MPFO held a work luncheon with the delegation.
