Upon the respective invitation by the Organizing Committee of the 3^rd China-Arica People’s Forum (CAPF) and Tanzania NGO (TANGO), a 6-member CPAPD delegation led by Deputy Secretary General Chen Huaifan paid a visit to Sudan and Tanzania from May 11^th to 18^th.

During the stay in Sudan, the delegation attended the “3^rd China-Africa People’s Forum” held in Khartoum, and Ms. Chen served as the Chinese moderator in the plenary session III of the Forum entitled “Enhancing the Cooperation between the Chinese and African Companies for the Achievement of Common Interests”, while the other 2 delegates, namely, Mr. Li Weifang, Deputy Director of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Engineering and Council Member of the CPAPD, and Mr. Lu Wenxiao, Vice-President of Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co. Ltd., both made a keynote speech in the plenary session III.

During the stay in Tanzania, the delegation respectively met with TANGO, College of Education of Dar Es Salaam University, Eastern African Research Capacity Development Foundation, and Research for Poverty Alleviation, exchanging views on mutual friendly exchanges and cooperation.
