At the invitation of CPAPD, 16 scholars from leading think tanks on peace and security studies of the USA, Russia, Japan, Korea, Sweden, the UK, Germany, France, Australia and Canada visited China from June 19^th to 27^th. During their visit in Beijing, they participated in the thematic symposiums entitled Wanshou Dialogue on Global Security: the Current Situation in the Asia-Pacific Region sponsored by the CPAPD. Mr. Tao Tao, the Deputy Secretary-General of CPAPD hosted a work discussion. In addition, the foreign friends also visited Shanghai, and had in-depth discussions with scholars of the Shanghai Institute of International Studies and the Institute of International Studies of Fudan University.
