At the invitation by the CPAPD, a delegation consisted of 20 NGO leaders from Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and Cambodia visited China from March 1 to 13, 2017. In Beijing, Vice President of the CPAPD Mr. He Jun met with the delegation, and Deputy Secretary General Mr. Tao Tao briefed the delegation about China’s national conditions and political system and held a work discussion. An expert from China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations had a thematic introduction to the delegation. The delegation attended Wanshou Forum with the theme of the Current International Security Situation and Its Features. Besides Beijing, the delegation also paid field inspections and visited sites relevant to modern agricultural projects, new countryside construction, grass-root party construction, hi-tech enterprises, local community and so on in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Guangdong Province.
