Think Tank Representatives from South Asian Countries Visit China
At the invitation by the CPAPD, a South Asian delegation consisted of 13 representatives of think tanks specialized on peace and security studies from India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka visited China from April 13 to 26, 2016. In Beijing, Vice President of the CPAPD Mr. He Jun met with the delegation, and Secretary General Mr. Zhu Rui briefed the delegation about China’s national conditions, political systems and foreign policy and held a work discussion. Two experts from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and China Institute for International Studies had a thematic introduction to the delegation respectively. The delegation called upon China State Nuclear Security Technology Center and had a discussion with its leadership. Besides, the delegation also paid field inspections and visited sites relevant to cultural heritage preservation, modern agricultural projects, new countryside construction, grass-root party construction, hi-tech enterprises and so on in Shandong and Zhejiang Province.
