At the invitation of the National Assembly of Ecuador and Centro Brasileiro de Solidariedade aos Povose Luta pela Paz (CBSPLP), Mr. Ma Biao, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) visited Ecuador and Brazil as head of the CPAPD delegation from 20^th to 29th March, 2016.

During the stay in Ecuador, the delegation met with Vice President, H.E. Mr. Glas, President of the National Assembly, H.E. Ms. Rivadeneira and First Vice President of the Assembly, H.E. Ms. Alvarado. The delegation also held a working discussion with the Second Vice President of the Assembly, H.E. Ms. Aguiaga and President of the De Soberanía, Integración, Relaciones Internacionales y Seguridad Integral, Ms. Calle.

In Brazil, the delegation met with the Special Representative of the Speaker of the Higher House of Brazilian Parliament, Mr. Ribeiro and Acting Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Vallera. The delegation also had working exchanges with Mrs. Socorro Gomes, President of CBSPLP, National Union of Students, National Union of Women and representatives from other 10 organizations.
