Peng Qinghua, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China and president of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament （CPAPD）met with a delegation led by H.E. Mr. Sommad Pholsena, the Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly of The Lao People’s Democratic Republic and President of the Laos Committee for Peace and Solidarity (LCPS), in Beijing on the February 27th. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the building of a China-Laos community with a shared future, interactions between the two legislative bodies, as well as people-to-people and cultural exchanges.
