Upon the invitations by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation in Turkey, and the Regional Peace Institute in Pakistan, a four-member delegation led by Madam Chen Huaifan, Deputy Secretary General the CPAPD, visited Turkey and Pakistan from February 4^th to 11^th. 

During the stay in Turkey, the delegation attended the “17th Eurasian Economic Summit” held by the Marmara Group Foundation, and Madam Chen Huaifan delivered a keynote speech titled “Dreams along the Silk Road” at the session themed “The Future of Economy and Energy from Local to Global on Silk Road”. During the stay in Pakistan, the delegation attended the conference themed “China, Pakistan and Afghanistan: Regional Dynamics, Future Prospects” co-hosted by the CPAPD and the Regional Peace Institute, Pakistan. During the conference, Madam Chen Huaifan delivered opening remarks and a keynote speech, and the two parties signed a Memorandum of Collaboration. The delegation also visited the Pakistan-China Institute, the Institute of Policy Studies and the Institute of Regional Studies in Islamabad, and exchanged views on issues of common concern.
