At the invitation by the CPAPD, a delegation of American Friends Service Committee visited China from November 7 to 11. In Beijing, Mr. Yu Hongjun, Vice-President of the CPAPD met with the delegation, and Secretary General Mr. An Yuejun held a work discussion. The delegation called on the Department of Foreign Assistance of Ministry of Commerce and China Peacekeeping Police Training Centre, and attended a seminar entitled “To Strengthen China-US Cooperation”. Besides Beijing, the delegation  also visited Shanghai. An official from Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office met with the delegation, and the scholars of Shanghai Institute of International Studies had a meeting with the delegation, exchanging views of issues of common concern.
