At the invitation of the CPAPD, a World Peace Council(WPC）delegation led by Mr. Iraklis Trsavdaridis, WPC Executive Secretary, visited China in November 2011. The group was composed of peace activists from 15 countries such as South Africa, Zimbabwe and Egypt in Africa, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria in the Mid-East as well as Greece, the UK, Spain, Germany, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy and Turkey in Europe. The group had a series of  formal working sessions and exchanges in Beijing, Xi'an and Xiamen. The delegation held discussions and exchanges with Chinese experts on international affairs, the Chinese foreign policy, human rights issues and etc. The group also visited a social welfare center in Xiamen, which provided a vivd picture on how the disabled children were taken care of. The CPAPD leadership including Mr. Ma Wenpu, the Executive Vice-President of the CPAPD and Vice Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress, also met with the WPC peace activists and had exchanges on views of common concern.
