Laotian Delegation Visited China

Headed by Chairman of the Lao Committee for Peace and Solidarity(LCPS ), Mr. Khamphan Simmalavong, the LCPS delegation was invited by the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) to visit China from May 4^th to 9^th, 2011. On May 5^th, the Former Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Honorable President of the CPAPD, Mme. He Luli met with the delegation in Beijing. Besides formal working sessions with the CPAPD, the LCPS delegation visited the Shi Chahai Sub-district Community Service Center in Xi Cheng District and Liu Minying village, a Socialist New Countryside Building Project in Da Xing District, Beijing. From May 7^th to 8^th, the delegation went to Tianjin and paid a field-visit to Tianjin’s NO.1 Apartments for Senior Citizens.
